Another Day, Another Tragedy!

I sit listening to rain that has been falling for what seems like days on end and stare at pictures of mushroom clouds above Texas and pools of blood in Boston; and I wonder... what is going on?  Why is the world in such turmoil?  One disaster after another, after another, after another....  Our hearts are beginning to heal after the devastation at Sandy Hook, and now those wounds are ripped back open for those lost in Boston.  Both situations that seem beyond comprehension.  How does one human being get to the place where they desire to cause such wreckage?  My mind cannot fathom...and I am thankful for that.

These days drive me to the brink of depression, how I long for the sunshine... literally and figuratively!
